MONA's annual Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Conference is designed for those advanced practice registered nurses who are recognized as nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists.

This two day (Thursday & Friday) conference presented by the Missouri Nurses Association and the Missouri Coalition of Nurses in Advanced Practice will help you to:

  • Develop clinical skills and knowledge applicable to advanced practice nursing.
  • Describe current and future trends impacting advanced practice nursing.
  • Network with nurses in various specialties of advanced practice nursing.
  • Network with a number of health care service representatives to learn the latest state of the art technologies and pharmaceuticals available.

REGISTRATIONRegistration fees include conference materials, refreshments, luncheons and continuing education credit for each day registered.  No refunds will be made due to inclement weather.

AGENDA & PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS:  The full conference agenda is available by clicking the link above.  The full agenda will include all event times and descriptions.  The exact room locations will be determined prior to the conference.   

LOCATION & LODGING:  The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Executive Center, 2200 I-70 Drive SW, Columbia, MO.  A block of rooms has been reserved at a rate of $104.95 per night.  Reservations must be made no later than April 6, 2017 by calling 573-445-8531 and identifying yourself with the Missouri Nurses Association.

The Holiday Inn is centrally located and easily accessible from I-70. Conveniently situated across from the Columbia Mall, near downtown, as well as the University of Missouri-Columbia Campus, the Holiday Inn offers access to varied leisure opportunities. Ample parking is available at the hotel.

HANDOUTS:  Handouts for the educational sessions will be available online for participants to print or save to their computers. All paid participants will receive a link and password prior to the conference. 

EVALUATION Evaluation of the conference will be conducted electronically.  Participants will receive email instructions and a link to access the conference evaluation upon the conclusion of the conference.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY We encourage you to send a qualified substitute if you cannot attend. Registration fees, less a $25 enrollment processing fee, will be refunded to participants who cannot attend and notify the Missouri Nurses Association office in writing of the cancellation no less than ten business days prior to the activity. No refunds will be made after April 12, 2017. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather.

CONTINUING EDUCATION ACCREDITATION:  Participants can receive a maximum of 14.75 contact hours for attending this activity (7.5 on Thursday, 7.25 on Friday).  Pharmacology sessions are marked as such.

The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Accreditation as a provider refers only to the recognition of continuing education activities and does not imply Missouri Nurses Association, Midwest Multistate Division or ANCC Commission on Accreditation approval or endorsement of any commercial product.
