Any person licensed to practice as a registered nurse in at least one state is eligible to join MONA/ANA. And, because MONA believes all Missouri's nurses should become actively involved, there are two levels of membership: Full Membership and State Individual Membership.
Full Membership (MONA & ANA)
For RNs employed full or part-time. Any person submitting application and paying the full dues amount has all the benefits of membership. Membership is initiated at the district and state levels. The flexible membership year begins the month application is received and continues for a twelve month period.

State Individual Membership (SIM) (MONA only)
Benefits of membership may be received by those eligible for the reduced group rate. For a list of SIM Membership benefits, click here.
Special Situations
Any registered nurse who meets the following criteria is eligible for reduced membership dues:
- not-currently employed;
- a full-time student;
- new graduate from basic nursing education program, within six months after graduation (first membership year only);
- 62 years of age or over and not earning more than Social Security system allows without reduction in benefits
Joining MONA
To join, you may apply online or call the MONA office at 573-636-4623 ex. 226. You may also print our Membership Application. MONA accepts the following methods of payment:
- Full annual payment (check, VISA and MasterCard acceptable)
- Electronic Funds Transfer (Monthly Payments deducted directly from your checking account.)
- Payroll Deduction (available only where there is an agreement between your employer and MONA to make such deductions)
